Introductory Class Overview

People looking for their first experience with Art Clay usually take introductory classes. These classes can vary widely in subject matter depending on the instructor. Typical class projects include basic pendants, rings, brooches, earrings, etc. These basic classes are a great way to experiment, while having an instructor nearby for any aid that may be needed. Introductory classes are the most common classes due to the short period of time required, and the low cost.

Certified Level One Instructors, Senior Instructors, and Master Instructors are capable of holding introductory level classes. To find an introductory class, please check our online class calendar frequently, or click here to view a listing of certified Senior and Master Instructors.

This course provides general and technical information, as well as some helpful teaching guidelines.

All students that take a Crossover Certification will be required to submit a copy of their PMC certificates.

Overview of Other Types of Classes

Other Types of Classes
Certified Art Clay Instructors are well known for working with other media. It is very common for our Instructors to hold other classes that include materials that may be incorporated into your Art Clay creations (some examples of other media used with Art Clay are polymer clay, porcelain, enameling, ceramics, and glass). Feel free to take a look at the ACW Senior and Master Instructor Artist pages, as many indicate other media in which they work. Click here to view a list of Master and Senior Instructors.
